Driving home from work last night, I saw a Chevette going down the road. This is first time in four of five years that I have see a Chevette somewhere other than my dreams. Amazingly the Chevette I saw on the road was a dead ringer for the one I used to drive. For some reason I makes me feel good to know that there is still a Chevette still on the roads. An impressive feat for a car that was ranked as the 5th worst car of the millennium.

Couldn't go without commenting on the Chevette. Mine was just like that one too, except it was navy blue with a white pin stripe on the side. I loved the hatchback! We would put it up and then "tailgate" at football games and such in high school. Putting the back seat down you could just barely lay down in the back. Don't ask.....
Yep, my family had one, too. I like seeing them as well.
Ours was 70s beige.
